Responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and talented graphic designer to join the corporate marketing communications team. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with demonstrated, strong design ability, and the unique skillset of taking complex concepts and technical material and turning them into easily understandable graphic concepts. This person should be passionate about branding and excited by social media and the impact new technology has on the way we do business. This individual should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a desire and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Responsibilities:
As the lead graphic designer and multimedia specialist, you will work closely with the chief marketing officer to manage the Arcfield brand and how it translates to visual and digital content. In this role, you’ll be in a unique position and will be tasked with taking our new brand and elevating it above its peers. This person should also be driven by analytics. And should be able to look at web and social analytics and behavior to help inform our overall design / brand strategy. You will serve as the go-to authority on all things branding and will serve as the internal resource for brand compliance.
More specifically, responsibilities will include: preparing visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts; planning, analyzing and creating original visual solutions to communications projects; identifying and executing the most effective way to get messages across in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, video and various print and layout techniques. This person will lead the development of the overall layout and production design of datasheets, white papers, case studies, sales presentations, corporate reports and other publications as well as the development of multimedia content such as videos to be used across a multitude of channels like social media, web, trade show displays, etc. They’ll develop visual materials for web content including UI and web design, social media content, interactive media and multimedia projects. They’ll also be asked to work independently with subject matter experts across the company to complete a project from start to finish under minimal supervision, gathering relevant information by meeting with internal customers, collaborating with members of the broader marketing team and by performing your own research.
Specific day-to-day duties may include:
- Web / wireframe and UI design / development
- Developing the overall layout and production design for advertising, datasheets, white papers, case studies, sales presentations, corporate reports and other publications
- Developing moving graphics, videos and animations for online advertising, internet web pages, social media, interactive media and multimedia projects
- Create graphics to support internal stakeholders such as: business development, human resources, facilities, security, etc.
- Producing promotional displays, packaging and relevant marketing brochures for products and services
- Developing material to support trade show and event participation
- Collaborate closely with internal and external print vendors to fully execute projects
- Other ad-hoc design requests as-needed
Qualifications
- Requires 3-5 years of experience in graphic design or similar field
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud products (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, xD, After Effects, etc.)
- Experience with interactive media
- Experience creating web design and layouts
- Ability to translate designs into real-life websites via common WYSIWYG editor; experience with Wix/Editor X a plus
- HTML / coding ability a plus
- Experience with Google Analytics a plus
- Experience with Microsoft products, especially PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environment
