Position Summary: RTX is seeking a highly motivated Workday Adaptive Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and technical background and experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or a related tool. This position will focus on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of the Workday Adaptive Planning tool to ensure it meets the needs of our digital team.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in the design, configuration, and development of Workday Adaptive Planning tool to support various business needs.
  • Collaborate with digital, finance, operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure the tool is effectively configured to meet those needs.
  • Conduct thorough testing of Workday Adaptive Planning configurations and updates to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring timely and accurate data flow between Workday Adaptive Planning and other systems.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the functionality of the planning system.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the Workday Adaptive Planning tool through hands-on experience and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Atleast 1 year of experience with system support, preferably with Workday Adaptive Planning or other similar tools.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning implementation or administration.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages.
  • Familiarity with other financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, BI tools).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with advanced functions and data analysis tools.
  • Basic understanding of data management and system integration principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
