The Role
The Director, Advanced Security Solutions will lead a global professional services team delivering high-impact cybersecurity transformation projects for Presidio clients. This role focuses on driving holistic Security Operations modernization (including SOAR, XDR, NDR, and EDR capabilities), Zero Trust adoption, and Cloud Security transformation through advanced defensive strategies and modern security architectures. The Director will be a technically credible leader, equally comfortable engaging with C-level executives on security strategy and collaborating with senior architects and threat hunters on solution design. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of the evolving threat landscape, proven experience leading high-performing engineering teams, and a track record of building professional services capabilities from the ground up.

Travel Requirements:

This is a remote role within the Continental United States and will require 25-30% travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a highly skilled geographically distributed team of cybersecurity delivery engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and accountability ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of professional services projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, timelines, budgets, and customer-specific requirements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic and consultative guidance to optimize their cybersecurity posture using advanced cybersecurity technologies.
• Define and continuously improve service delivery methodologies, ensuring engagements are consistent, repeatable, and aligned to industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams across sales, product management, and engineering to drive solution adoption, customer engagement, and overall satisfaction.
• Maintain deep awareness of the global threat landscape to guide solution design and influence client security strategies.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for the most complex and high-impact security challenges.
• Proactively manage customer escalations, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining strong, enduring client relationships.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiency enhancements, and service delivery automation.
• Maintain financial oversight of the professional services practice, including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and profitability management.
• Stay informed of industry trends, emerging threats, and technological advancements to enhance service offerings and maintain competitive edge.
• Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service delivery, customer satisfaction, and project success rates.

Required Skills and Professional Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent work experience and/or military experience (Degree will preferably be in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline)
• Minimum 5+ years of professional services or consulting experience in cybersecurity
• Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role 
• Vendor certifications in respective focus areas from Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, and/or CrowdStrike.
• Industry-recognized blue-team certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC (GCIA, GCDA, GCED), CompTIA CySA+, or equivalent defensive operations credentials.
• Ability to bridge business and technical discussions, earning credibility with both executives and senior technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploits, adversarial methodologies, and tactics.
• Expertise in holistic Security Operations, including SOAR, XDR, NDR, EDR, and incident response readiness.
