$18.00 - $23.81The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
Performs functions associated with patient information processing for ambulatory care visits. Completes the tasks of reception, registration, charge reconciliation process, appointment scheduling, eRecord task management, In Basket management and Telephone encounter management using the electronic medical record and patient access and revenue cycle systems. Assures patient satisfaction with information processing and reception service. Requires accuracy in order to generate a billable service for the provider. Responsible for functions being completed in an accurate, efficient, and customer friendly manner. May be a resource to new staff. Responsible for monitoring own performance on assigned tasks. Self-directed: must make complex decisions. May train new or less experienced support staff.Are you passionate about providing top-notch customer service in a healthcare setting? What You'll Do:
As an OAR, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients have a seamless and positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Interaction: Greet and register patients, schedule appointments, and accurately enter patient data.
- Customer Service: Be the first point of contact for patients' questions and concerns, providing solutions and guidance.
- Communication: Coordinate appointments with other clinic sites, manage missed appointments and cancellations, and arrange interpreters and transportation when needed.
- Team Collaboration: Facilitate smooth transitions for patients between different providers and clinic staff, and support your colleagues with their tasks.
- Accuracy: Ensure all patient forms and information are accurate and up-to-date, reconcile any errors, and maintain precise clinic schedules.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least one year of customer service or administrative/office experience.
- Skills: Strong customer service orientation, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
