Pharmacy Technician - Outpatient as needed

What You’ll Do:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions

• Manage inventory: order, receive, stock, and track medications

• Provide top-tier customer service at the register and on the sales floor

• Support data entry and patient communications via phone and in person

• Participate in specialty programs like meds-to-beds, curbside pickup, and concierge services

• Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, CMS, TJC, and Maryland Board of Pharmacy regulations

• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth operations

What You Bring:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Pharmacy Technician certification preferred

• Experience: Prior pharmacy technician experience preferred; newly licensed techs welcome

• Licensure: Must be registered with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy (or obtain within 30 days of hire); national certification preferred

• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and fine hand-eye coordination

• High levels of concentration, multitasking, and communication

• Occasional exposure to hazardous materials and temperature fluctuations
