Job Description

Sixt is looking for a Customer Service Representative to handle all inbound calls from our customers. They will primarily be responsible for resolving customer issues efficiently and effectively while ensuring the customer receives a positive experience. They will utilize exceptional decision-making, judgment, and communication skills while providing excellent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses the following attributes:  

• Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong organizational and time management skills 
• Excellent work ethic and willingness to take on multiple tasks 
• Dependable, cooperative, and willing to assist others 

What you will do:

• Address all customer needs, complaints, or other issues with a premium service level 
• Clarify the customer's inquiry; determine the cause of the problem; select and explain the best solution to solve the concern and expedite correction or adjustment as needed; follow up with customers to ensure resolution 
• Handle all inbound telephone and email inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner 
• Provide advice to the requests of our customers regarding complaints and their invoices 
• Work very close with other departments to provide the best possible customer service 
• Provide excellent customer service in all customer contact situations according to our quality standards 
• Draft professional correspondence through email. 

Qualifications

About you:

• Associate’s required; Bachelor’s degree preferred  
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of customer resolution; previous experience in de-escalation and customer support 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
• Exceptional interpersonal skills 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Must have basic computer navigation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications 
• Must be at least 18 years old 
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week 
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours and weekends/holidays 
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future 
• Proficiency in English 
• Ability to communicate in other languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Hebrew, German, etc.) a plus
