Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in San Leandro, CA.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Digital Technology and Innovation group which supports evolving digital platforms and enhances integration of the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing capabilities. In this role, you will lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact. Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs. Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors. Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals.

Required Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving Software Engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

5 years of Software Engineering experience in Java/ J2EE technologies

5 years of Spring Framework experience

5 years of experience in design and development of modern web applications and mobile technologies in Agile methodologies following test driven and behavior driven application development

5 years of JSON development experience

5 years of experience on SOAP and REST web services, Micro Service and Cloud Services such as AWS or Azure

5 years of Online Banking domain knowledge

3 years of experience with SDLC tools and processes including GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven or Gradle

3 years of experience on Distributed event processing frameworks like Apache Kafka, Storm, Flink

3 year of Mongo DB experience

Experience with APM tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus etc.

Salary: $206,315 - $237,100 per year
