The Sr. logistics Procurement responsible for Logistics Procurement globally and drives the strategic sourcing. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the logistics partner and the suppliers to deliver the parts/equipment to the data centers.

You will engage with internal stakeholders and the suppliers to accomplish the tasks.

What You'll Do: 

• Responsible for sourcing materials based on data centers demand
• Manage and monitor the request tickets and drive to closure
• Purchases material, products, and equipment by submitting purchase orders with and following up to delivery
• Issue purchase orders and agreements that accurately reflect price, scheduler, terms and conditions as negotiated
• Facilitates resolution of issues by arranging and participating in meetings with vendors
• Assists in the evaluation process through the distribution of quotations, preparation of the commercial invoices, and collaboration with engineering and data center staff regarding the technical and constructability evaluations
• Establish effective communications, good relations, and positive images with vendors, promoting courtesy, objectivity, and fairness
• Familiar with the basic functions of the vendor database, JIRA, Google doc
• Files appropriate record documents and follow up with the data center for proper delivery of parts/equipment 

What We're Looking For: 

• Self motivated individual
• Experience with procurement and logistics processes
• Experience with accounting transactions, Coupa purchase order process, and invoicing
• Experience with logistics processes, domestically and globally. Commercial invoice documents

We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these: 

• Procurement and logistics tools, Coupa, ERP
• Negotiation skill
• Analytical expertise, data analysis

Work Hours: 

• This position will require you to work during scheduled hours from 8am-5pm Pacific standard time.

Work Location & Travel Requirements: 

This position is open to San Francisco, CA and US (Remote).

• San Francisco, CA

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.  

We are willing to consider remote candidates in US (Remote).

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $133,200 to $166,500.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
