Job Description Summary:
This position will be providing coverage inpatient, outpatient and first assisting in the OR. This candidate needs to have RNFA or be a PA.This practice provides general plastics, oral surgery, hand surgery and wound coverage. The nurse practitioner or physician assistant works in collaboration with plastic surgeon(s) in an ambulatory and hospital-based inpatient setting working with ill and injured patients. Perform very invasive procedures and requires high level of independent clinical decision-making. Role requires first assisting so nurse practitioners will be required to have RNFA certification. Shifts are variable and may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
