Together, we continue to shape the future of defense, one innovative solution at a time.Senior Systems AdministratorCaribou ThunderLocation: Albuquerque, NMRequisition#: Date Posted: 10/03/2024Salary: $110k-$149kSecurity Clearance: Active SecretEducation: Bachelor’s degree (STEM)Experience:  7 – 10 years of experiencePosition SummaryCaribou Thunder is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator in support of modeling and simulation efforts with the 705 Combat Training Squadron (CTS) Infrastructure, Development and Engineering (IDE) program simulation software (SW) and hardware (HW) solutions, build, and maintain network infrastructure.Complete DescriptionAs a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software products. Your duties will include system administration, patching, backup and restore operations, software license management, and assisting the Information Assurance (IA) Team with account management and system vulnerability management. You will be an integral part of our SA Team, contributing to the reliability and security of the 705 CTS computer systems.Basic RequirementsResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience
• SolarWinds administration
• Active Directory, managing permissions and control access to network resources
• DNS protocols
• Software configuration, installation, and loading
• Ability and willingness to travel up-to 10% to support business needs
• An active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance is required to start; with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior DMOC experience
• NetApp experience
