As Prometric prepares for 2026 and navigates an increasingly complex regulatory landscape, it is imperative to enhance our enterprise-wide focus on Risk Management. The convergence of risk oversight with Business Continuity Planning (BCP) presents a strategic opportunity to streamline governance, improve resilience, and align with evolving global standards. This role will ensure proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, and continuity assurance across the organization, supporting both operational stability and regulatory compliance.
Job Description
The Manager, Risk and Business Continuity will lead the strategic and operational execution of Prometric’s Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Risk Management programs. This role is responsible for ensuring enterprise-wide resilience through proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, and continuity assurance. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ISO 22301, and integrated risk platforms such as Riskonnect, OneTrust and will drive cross-functional alignment with audit, compliance, and IT security stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Business Continuity Management (BCM)
• Lead the development, maintenance, and testing of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), aligned with ISO 22301 standards.
• Oversee the annual Business Impact Analysis (BIA), ensuring recovery priorities are validated and updated across systems and departments.
• Coordinate relevant internal and third-party audits, including evidence collection, remediation tracking, and post-audit reporting.
• Manage internal and external (clients) Table Top Exercises to help validate and enhance overall organizational preparedness.
• Manage training and employee awareness initiatives related to Risk Management and Business Continuity.
• Support Prometric’s Crisis Management Teams (IMT and IRT) as needed.
• Risk Management
• Own the enterprise risk register and facilitate quarterly risk reviews with business units.
• Lead Annual Enterprise Risk Assessment, including tracking and report on progress.
• Partner with IT and Legal to ensure alignment on data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory risks (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
• Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and emerging threats, including operational disruptions, vendor risk, and geopolitical events.
Technology and Tools
• Serve as the business owner for Riskonnect’s Business Continuity & Resilience platform, including incident dashboards, scenario tagging, and BIA enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure system integrations and data integrity across risk and continuity platforms.
Leadership and Collaboration
• Manage and mentor a team of BCP and Risk professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Act as a liaison to the Compliance and Risk Management Steering Committee and represent the function in executive briefings.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, IT, Operations) and external auditors to ensure program alignment and transparency.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Continuity, Information Security, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise risk and/or business continuity leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 22301, SOC 2, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with Riskonnect or similar GRC platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
