Overview: 

We're seeking a dynamic Assistant Buyer to drive growth across Jil Sander North America. This role combines analytical expertise with merchandising acumen to elevate our full-price business, helping shape assortment strategy and manage product lifecycles while achieving division financial targets. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Deliver comprehensive weekly sales analysis and performance tracking. 

• Identify market trends and growth opportunities. 

• Manage assortment planning tools. 

• Drive data-driven decisions for business optimization. 

• Support full-cycle buying process from concept to execution. 

• Maintain detailed assortment documentation. 

• Process markdown strategies and reorder recommendations. 

• Collaborate with Digital, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams. 

• Partner with Retail teams on store-specific strategies. 

• Support Global Merchandising initiatives. 

• Participate actively during market campaigns. 

• Process and track shipments/orders following up on deliveries to stores. 

• Support development of buying strategies. 

• Assist with line planning and assortment building. 

 

Qualifications 

• Prefer 2+ years in Retail Buying or Merchandising in RTW 

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency 

• Strong analytical capabilities 

• Strategic thinking with results-oriented mindset 

• Strong organizational abilities 

• Excellent communication skills

Salary Range: $65-$70k
