As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will support the design, development and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, organization, planning, and project management skills.

The role will support a shift of Monday - Friday 7AM-4PM with extended support as needed.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate manufacturing schedule and coordinate the availability and controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements
Performs shop order release/closure in MRP System and reconciles parts
Provide detailed status of work in progress, material availability, and communicates constraints to schedule
Prepare work orders for the production of parts based on MRP, master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements
Coordinate interdepartmental activity with warehouse, inspection, quality, operations, purchasing, engineering, logistics and program.
Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders
Work cross functionally to expedite any material shortages with procurement, receiving, quality, and other production areas
Implement material stocking strategy on production lines, monitor, control and maintain proper floor stock
Control the proper access and consumption of material in manufacturing
Monitor the flow/velocity of jobs through the production line and partner with Production to ensure work completes on time to schedule.
Monitor the velocity of the disposition of MRB and stranded material
Enter material transactions in ERP system
Prepare reports and note shortages/damage
Process Scrap and obsolete inventory from WIP locations as required.
Prepare for, conduct and assist in reconciliation of cycle counts
Work with Engineering and Warehousing teams to resolve part discrepancies
May be required to interface with departments throughout the company
Must possess good organizational skills, the ability to work well with others, good decision making skills, and the ability to think outside the box
