Responsibilities
Help improve the whole lifecycle of infrastructure services from inception and design, throughout development, capacity planning and launch reviews, to deployment, operation and refinement.
Responsible for service levels of critical, revenue-generating E-commerce platform as well as all supporting infrastructure and services.
Define service level indications and data-driven objectives and develop DevOps/SRE standards, processes and methodologies, to upload and improve uptime, latency and system health of a core global e-commerce production platform.
Scale systems sustainability through mechanisms such as automation; evolve systems reliability, efficiency, and velocity by pushing for changes.
Provide user support, incident responses and postmortems.
Participate in technical operations and rotations in response to performance and reliability issues.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure that key stability and maintainability requirements, such as capacity planning and launch reviews, are performed to enable transparent service delivery.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related STEM field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related STEM field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Designing web applications with Java, Go or Python programming languages;
Designing scalable and high available software systems for cloud environments;
Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance of back-end and cloud native projects;
Automating and managing the full release lifecycle, including code development, build, testing, validation, and deployment; and
Maintaining associated TCP/IP, routing, network topologies, storage, or operating systems.

Type: Full time, 40 hours/week
Location: San Jose, CA
Salary Range: $226158 - $355000 per year
