The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.
The impact you’ll make
In a manufacturing environment, drives the long-range strategic planning process for operations by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations, including manufacturing itself, production control, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, inventory control, potential materials functions, such as purchasing, and shipping/receiving activities. Defines goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems in conjunction with managers of manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, and sales. Translates customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing and profitable manufacturing of company products. Develops operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures. Maintains safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility. May direct international manufacturing operations. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
What you’ll do
- Interfaces with Product Management, Program Management, Pilot Operations and Engineering to deliver Dextro™ products to Lam’s customers. Reports to Engineering CVP in CSBG. Design, lead, and manage Dextro™ operations to transition projects from Engineering Alpha build to customer shipment. Works closely with Dextro™ Engineering leadership to ensure rapid product development and release to customers per development slot plan.
- Program Execution & Delivery: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, dependencies, and communicate project status to stakeholders. Identify business risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful tool delivery. Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress, manage changes, and ensure project documentation is up to date. Organize, lead, and facilitate both direct reports and cross-functional teams to support existing and new projects.
- Metrics, Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain metrics for process measurement and identify key indicators for future improvement opportunities. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Utilize data and statistical techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Leadership Communication: Communicate effectively with executive leadership and functional partners. Present complex information clearly and concisely to support decision-making. Build trusted relationships to drive alignment and execution.
- People & Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead, coach and develop direct reports and matrixed team; set clear goals and performance expectations. Foster collaboration, inclusion, and shared ownership across a highly matrixed organization. Build organizational capabilities, effectiveness and bench strength through organizational development strategies.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 6-8 years of management experience. An advanced degree preferred.
