Responsibilities

We are seeking a Hospital Greeter (Part-Time), sometimes referred to as our Visitor Services Associate at Southern Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare in Riverdale, GA. As our Hospital Greeter you will welcome and assist our patients, visitors, and staff by providing directions, answering inquiries, helping with check-in, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. They offer a friendly, reassuring presence, coordinate with hospital staff, and contribute to a positive experience for all visitors.

 

Shift’s Available:  Days

Employment Type: Part-time

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • warmly welcome patients, families, and guests, and providing directions to various departments or areas within the hospital
  • answer general inquiries about hospital services, policies, or locations
  • help patients with the check-in process and directing them to the appropriate registration or waiting areas
  • ensure visitors follow hospital protocols, including visitor restrictions, and guiding them to the appropriate locations
  • provide emotional support to patients and visitors, offering a friendly and reassuring presence.
  • communicate with hospital personnel to ensure smooth operations and to relay any necessary information

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Previous experience in office or receptionist
  • Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer Services experience preferred
