Description:

The Manager, Central Staffing will be responsible for managing the Staffing Clerks, Staffing Specialists, and other support-level positions as well as labor pool staff with the assistance of the RN Director in accordance with the clinical standards and guidelines set forth by Phoebe Health System. Responsible for the planning, execution, and management of contract labor, international nurse program, labor pool, and Central Staffing Office to support the Main and Sumter campuses.   Responsible for managing the order fulfillment process, which includes candidate submittals, and for managing all non-patient-facing, non-clinical activities of all temporary associates hired through Central Staffing.

The incumbent will be responsible in interacting heavily with various business units within Phoebe Putney Health System, ensuring staffing needs are met and service levels are exceeded by handling all client/customer questions, concerns, day-to-day functions/staffing operations of a multi-system health care company to ensure production requirements are met with regards to all aspects of staffing. In conjunction with department leadership, the Manager, Central Staffing, is responsible for assessing staffing levels for each unit to determine contract needs and for making shift assessments based on those needs. Responsible for coordinating with staffing vendors to obtain, onboard, and orient contract staff.  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
4-year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Respiratory Care, or related healthcare field from an accredited institution (Required) 

Work Experience
2 years of experience in an acute care healthcare setting (Required) 

Licenses and Certifications
Required Certifications/Licensures:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a current Georgia license
