Your new role
As a Senior IT/OT Operation Professional, you will help set the direction for IT infrastructure and security in the ED2 Kalundborg facility, which is organisationally anchored in GMS IT API. You will maintain local servers and clients, manage AD setup and NovoAccess, and ensure the network setup complies with security guidelines.

 

You will also drive or participate in projects implementing up-to-date IT solutions. Smaller changes are typically handled within the team, while larger projects are carried out with internal and external partners.

 

Your key areas will include:

 

Daily operations:

• Maintain and patch local servers, clients and production IT systems
• Manage firewall maintenance, reviews and required openings
• Monitor server uptime and ensure stable infrastructure performance
• Support OS-level access structures and provide 3rd level support
• Maintain infrastructure overview and documentation
• Administer user accounts, database access and segregation of duties at OS level

 

Projects:

• Participate in projects within digitalisation and integration of production data
• Implement system monitoring in collaboration with Global IT Operations, e.g. SCOM
• Automate maintenance tasks through PowerShell/SQL scripting

• Support project scoping with IT expertise in firewalls, network communication, domain administration and hardware.

 

Stakeholder collaboration:

• Work closely with Global IT Operations, as parts of infrastructure maintenance and support are outsourced to this partner
• Identify areas where centralised services, such as antivirus and backup, can add value
• Collaborate with centralised IT system managers to maintain general IT compliance

 

 

Your skills & qualifications
You have a relevant background in IT, infrastructure or a related technical field, such as IT infrastructure technician training or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar. We also imagine you bring around 5+ years of experience within IT/OT operations or infrastructure, preferably from pharma, production or another regulated environment, with an understanding of GxP, documentation standards and structured execution.

 

Extended knowledge within the following areas would be preferred:

• SQL databases (database integration)
• Virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware)
• Active Directory / Domain administration
• PowerShell scripting
• Cloud-technologies e.g. AWS or Azure
• Systematic problem solving
• Project management experience

 

General knowledge within the following areas would be an advantage:

• Network/Firewall
• Hardware and server rooms
• System/Service Monitoring e.g. SCOM
• SCADA e.g. iFix
• GxP (e.g. Good Manufacturing Practice)
