What You’ll Contribute

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deeply understand, discover, capture, and drive consensus on business requirements – documenting them in a clear, well-organized, and effective manner. Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the cloud-based applications supported by FICO’s technical landscape (e.g. Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, DocuSign).

• Partner with multiple, cross-department business stakeholders as well as with internal IT colleagues to drive the execution of process and system improvements leveraging enterprise-wide key cloud-based systems.

• Lead all stages of process and system enhancements from defining user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria to researching options, design, configuration, testing, and documentation to rollout and maintenance.
  Acquire a deep understanding of our products and systems, including their capabilities, features, and technical specifications.

• Drive the continuous evolution of applications, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state by maintaining an understanding of how current processes impact business operations; mapping current state against future state processes; identifying value gaps and opportunities for process enhancements or efficiencies; defining the impact of requirements on upstream and downstream solution components; and providing recommendations on how to apply best practices and integrate requirements with current systems and business processes to improve business capabilities.

• Communicate complex solutions in a clear and visual way, articulate the benefits and challenges regarding a solution’s feasibility, user experience and business impact, effectively gaining business support and buy-in and building excitement.

• Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, use cases, user stories, test cases and knowledge base articles to ensure clear communication and understanding.

• Design and manage the execution of test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered. Engage with key stakeholders across other applications to run and/or participate in end-to-end testing as needed.
  Ensure timely resolution of production bugs and issues.

• Work within the agile framework to deliver business needs.

• Promote a culture of innovation through openness to new ideas and the incorporation of user feedback into the software development process.

​What We’re Seeking

• Experience working as a business systems analyst with cross-functional teams on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.

• Experience producing and deciphering complex technical use cases, user stories, process flows, data analysis, data mapping, interfaces, and testing activities on cloud-based solutions.

• Proven ability to understand business needs, build strategic partnerships, and document and implement software solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand, discover and recommend options to solve complex business issues with technology solutions.

• Exceptional attention to detail and follow through, with a focus on quality and accuracy in documentation and testing.

• Self-starter who is flexible, adaptable, and able to balance multiple and shifting priorities and task assignments, while quickly learning and improving new applications and processes.
