Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and perform routine maintenance and repairs of the community’s facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems

- Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure timely completion of tasks

- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues proactively

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies and equipment

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff

- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise

- Collaborate with management to plan and execute preventative maintenance programs

- Manage vendor relationships and oversee external contractors when necessary

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related field

- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance procedures

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to supervise and motivate maintenance staff

- Good communication and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Prior experience working in senior living or healthcare environments is preferred
