Data Engineer/Analyst Intern

Job description: 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer/Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team. The intern will assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help drive data-driven decisions within the organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data engineering and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Preparation:
• Collect data from various sources and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
• Clean and preprocess data to prepare it for analysis.
• Data Analysis:
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings.
• Database Management:
• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases.
• Ensure data integrity and security.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with different teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with senior data engineers and analysts on various projects.
• Technical Support:
• Provide technical assistance in relation to data analysis tools and methods.
• Assist in the development of algorithms and models for data analysis.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for data.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies .
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Understanding of database management systems.

Minimum Salary: $66,399.84

Maximum Salary:$95,450.37

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $66,399.84 and $95,450.37/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
