We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pre-Surgical Screening Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing pre-operative assessments and education to patients undergoing surgical procedures. 

Responsibilities:

- Conduct pre-operative assessments and screenings to ensure patients are medically fit for surgery

- Educate patients on the surgical process, including risks and benefits, and answer any questions they may have

- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop individualized care plans for each patient

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medications or treatments

- Document patient care and progress in electronic medical records

- Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the surgical process

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Idaho.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. (BSN Preferred)
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS certification completed by the end of orientation.
• PALS certification completed by the end of orientation.
• Minimum of one (1) year work experience in Peri-Operative environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
