EMT - Medical Transport Services

This is a combined posting for an EMT Basic, EMT Advance and EMT Paramedic. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The EMT-Basic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The EMT-Basic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. Must also be able to participate in departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

The EMT Advanced is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The Advanced EMT must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. Must also be able to participate in departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

The EMT Paramedic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with department specific personnel. The paramedic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards as defined by departmental policy. Must also be able to participate in Departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

This position can be located in Lubbock, TX and/or Plainview, TX.

EMT Basic
Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems Or
• Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems Or
• Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems Or
• Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

 Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
• 1 year Covenant Ambulance:     
  • Experience in emergency medical services.
