About the Role

The Tech Lead is responsible for design, development and testing for python backed cloud native angular application with expertise in Angular widgets.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Authentication Development Team, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and design are followed.
• Driving the adoption of new technologies to improve productivity and code quality.
• Working closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Leading the design and development of authentication services using Python and FastAPI.
• Architecting scalable solutions on AWS Cloud using services like AWS Cognito, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Implementing secure, high-performance, and maintainable RESTful APIs.
• Managing both NoSQL and SQL databases to support authentication services.
• Championing Agile methodologies, facilitating sprints, retrospectives, and CI/CD practices.
• Ensuring authentication services meet security standards and comply with industry regulations.
• Implementing robust authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., MFA, SSO).

Requirements

• Have completed a program of study typically requiring four years of post-secondary education or higher educational attainment.
• 7+ years in software development, with a backend focus.
• 3+ years in a leadership or technical lead role in Agile teams.
• Demonstrate expertise in Python, Angular, AWS (Cognito, Lambda, DynamoDB), and RESTful API design.
• Experience in NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) and SQL databases.
• Demonstrate expertise in security practices and secure authentication systems.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and other authentication protocols.
• Demonstrate with front-end technologies and how they integrate with authentication services.
