Sr. Sales Operations Analyst

Primary Responsibilities:
Territory Planning:
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to define and optimize sales territories based on market potential, historical performance, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct regular analysis of territory performance, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between territory plans and overall business objectives.
Incentive Compensation:
- Design, implement, and manage incentive compensation plans for the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving desired behaviors.
- Analyze sales performance against compensation plans, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Provide ongoing support to Sales and Finance teams regarding commission calculations and inquiries.
Adhoc Analysis:
- Conduct adhoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and address specific business challenges.
- Respond to data and analysis requests from various stakeholders, delivering insights that contribute to the achievement of sales targets.
- Proactively identify trends and opportunities through data-driven analysis.
Data Management:
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information in CRM systems (Salesforce) and reporting systems (Qlik) related to territory assignments and compensation details
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to implement improvements in data quality and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with Finance team regarding territory alignments and compensation updates and queries
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, with a focus on territory planning and incentive compensation, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- These criteria can be relaxed for exceptional candidates
- Spreadsheet and slide wizard, with passion to find the story in all kinds of data - Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point necessary
- Experience modeling complex problems, both conceptually and tactically (spreadsheets, analysis tools, visualization)
- VBA, MySQL and/or database querying experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software tools and technologies
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Ability to work in a fast-past, competing deadline driven environment.
- Ability to execute projects from beginning to end with complete ownership and extreme attention to detail
- High-exposure (from sales reps to CEO) role that will show the candidate first-hand how Natera leads a world-class sales organization
- Ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences
- Duties typically performed in an office setting or remotely
- Duties may sometimes require working outside normal working hours (evenings & weekends)
- Travel – At most 20%
Broader Company Requirements
- This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) to perform the job.
- Employees must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.
- Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.Remote USA$67,700—$84,600 USD
