Director, Product & Strategy

Overview

The digital products and solutions group is a global organization within IQVIA supporting end to end product, definition and delivery to life science customers, chiefly in the clinical domain. Organization produces products designed to capability on our clients to execute their processes, the key business platforms that we focus on are: patient engagement, site engagement, financial management, quality and regulatory technologies for Medtech, modernizing safety operations of Life Science organizations, and finally clinical data management and analytics

We are seeking a Senior Product Strategy and Management Lead to join our expanding team with the Digital Products & Solutions group. This role will be responsible for leading product strategy and management across four key areas of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life science technology products and a proven track record of strategic decision-making and leadership.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy: Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company vision. Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products.

Product Management: Lead and manage from concept, to design, sample production, testing, forecast, cost, mass production, promotion, support, and finally product end of life. Also specify processes to engage with engineering to speed time to market.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with product managers, engineering, sales, marketing, and delivery to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and strategy.

Qualifications

Three main qualities required:

• Ability to operate with ambiguity
• Significant strength in articulation of framework and messages through slides as well as delivery
• Ownership

Core areas:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Proven experience in product management or similar role
• Experience in life science technology products preferred
• Excellent leadership and organization skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $149,000.00 - $276,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
