The Red Hat Training team is looking for a proactive, organized, customer success-minded professional to join the Red Hat Academy (RHA) program team in North America. RHA is an academic training program designed to help educational institutions differentiate themselves by providing no-cost Linux and open source curriculum for use in their degree programs. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of daily operations with all partner universities, colleges, or high schools. You will be accountable for driving consumption of our curriculum with all partner schools and working with the Red Hat Academy Global Team to implement and enhance strategic program initiatives. The preferred work location is Red Hat's corporate headquarters in Raleigh, NC; however, very well-qualified home-based applicants within the U.S. will also be considered.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and manage day to day operations for the RHA program in North America (NA)
- Drive ongoing consumption of the RHA program offerings across the NA region by creating and implementing engagement tactics
- Lead the on-boarding and adoption processes for all RHA partners and support these institutions through all steps of the program partnership model
- Work with internal Red Hat teams, including account managers, inside sales representatives, solutions architects, and consultants to identify new academic opportunities at partner schools and align RHA efforts with Red Hat’s overall education sales strategy
- Create and manage new initiatives to drive engagement with RHA schools and internal stakeholders
- Plan and execute regular events (virtual and in-person) that promote strong engagement with our RHA schools (ex: quarterly student webinars, annual partner conference)
- Provide support for Red Hat Training’s RHA marketing campaigns and lead follow-up activities to optimize campaign success and ROI
- Collaborate with RHA Global Team to manage all RHA reporting in North America region and monitor KPIs & forecast adoption metrics to the management team
- Assist with order processing of Workforce Development Program
- Assist with reporting of Red Hat Education program
- Develop strong relationships with management decision makers both internally and in strategic markets through in-person interactions and telecommunication
What you will bring
- 1-2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, project management or other relevant experience
- Experience managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional presentation skills with knowledge of and experience with virtual delivery platforms
- Client interaction and customer service experience and strong customer-facing skills
- Ability to clearly and effectively present information, demonstrate procedures, and respond to questions in public setting
- Capacity to interact with customers and colleagues on different hierarchical levels using good persuasion skills
- Ability to engage management-level decision makers and influencers
- Proactive project management mindset with a bias for action
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to work with many sales channels and routes to market
- Higher education degree (Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree)
- Ability to travel up to 25%
The following are considered a plus:
- 1-2 years of experience working in or selling to higher education (universities, colleges, community/technical colleges, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack, Google Suite
- Experience with Red Hat technologies and/or Red Hat Academy courses
- Graduate degree
The salary range for this position is $66,820 - $106,960. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
