About the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily site safety inspections and hazard assessments.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Support incident investigations and help with document findings and corrective actions.
  • Maintain safety logs, training records, and PPE inventory.
  • Help coordinate toolbox talks, safety orientations, and training sessions.
  • Participate in job site safety meetings and assist with emergency preparedness.
  • Communicate safety concerns and recommendations to site leadership.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of construction site operations and safety practices.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate active construction sites.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety documentation is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Internship or field experience on construction sites.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.

Working Conditions:

  • Some office work, primarily field-based on active construction sites.
  • May require lifting up to 50 lbs and wearing PPE (hard hat, safety vest, boots, etc.).
  • Occasional travel between job sites may be required.
