As a key member of the AI team, reporting to the AI Team Lead, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge algorithms for real-time food sorting, predictive maintenance and anomaly detection. <br/>  <br/> <strong>Roles and Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Develop, test and implement deep learning and computer vision algorithms for real-time food sorting performance. </li><li>Create predictive models and algorithms for machine reliability, predictive maintenance and anomaly detection. </li><li>Analyse and explore large and complex datasets using data analytics techniques and statistical modelling. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and devise data-driven solutions. </li><li>Utilise and optimise real-time data processing and data visualisation tools. </li><li>Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. </li><li>Implement MLOps practices to build, test and deploy machine learning models. </li><li>Take ownership of full DL model development lifecycle: from data capture at customer site, to deployment and maintenance over time. </li><li>Instruct labelers and oversee data capture activities so that data quality is ensured. </li><li>Experiment with cutting edge AI developments in order to create customer value on our sorters and maintain a competitive advantage over competition. </li><li>Occasional travel to other R&amp;D locations and customer sites for model validation. </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><ul><li>Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics. </li><li>Proficiency with several machine-learning tools, application programming languages and frameworks (Python, Pytorch, TensorRT, Tensorflow…). </li><li>Experience with AzureML, Databricks, AWS or similar and tools like MLFlow. </li><li>Experience with data visualization &amp; labeling tools such as voxel51 &amp; labelstudio or similar. </li><li>Experience with databases (SQL, LakeFS, Azure blob…). </li><li>Bonus is experience with DL inference on edge devices and GPU benchmarking. </li><li>Strong expertise in deep learning, computer vision and data analytics techniques. </li><li>Ability to extract meaningful business insights from data and identify patterns. </li><li>Experience with code revision control (GIT). </li><li>Passion for prototyping new products and solutions with transformative potential. </li><li>Stay updated on emerging AI developments and their potential impact on the food sorting industry. </li><li>Strong communication skills, self-motivated, creative and collaborative. </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>You will have long-term career opportunities, with a globally renowned company and the following: </p><ul><li>Health insurance.  </li><li>Pension scheme:<ul><li>2% employee contribution with 4% employer contribution,</li><li>4% employee contribution with 6% employer contribution,</li><li>6% employee contribution 8% employer contribution.  </li></ul></li><li>25 days annual leave.</li><li>Additional long service days.</li><li>International and collaborative working environment. </li><li>Space and support to experiment with new technologies. </li><li>Social events. </li><li>Be part of a mission to transform how we all obtain, use, and reuse the planet’s resources to enable a world without waste. </li><li>Inclusive company culture that values diversity, well-being, and strong camaraderie among our teammates. </li><li>Professional training and development: We are passionate about people and seeing them succeed. </li><li>We love innovation, a collaborative environment where idea sharing and thinking outside the box is encouraged. </li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p><p>If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
