Enrollment & Academic Services Marketing Team is responsible for creative development, strategic communication planning, brand management, graphic design, website design, social media strategy and execution, media buying, video production, procurement of promotional materials, market research and campaign analytics. As a recruitment tool, the department produces the AGGIEBOUND magazine.
What We Want
The Regional Advisor II is responsible for involvement with the development and implementation of admission, financial aid, and early outreach strategies that enhance the identification, recruitment and enrollment of prospective students interested in attending Texas A&M. Serves as mentor and trainer for other staff and serves as lead on select recruitment programs.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience in student services, admissions, recruitment, or financial aid.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Availability for extensive travel and evening and weekend work required in this position.
Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills with individuals or in a group setting.
Must possess strong organization skills.
Working knowledge of standard office equipment and computers.
Ability to work well with students and parents.
Ability use word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Knowledge of financial aid programs and federal regulations relating to student financial aid.
Ability to work as a team member in a dynamic organization, possessing a positive attitude and is customer service oriented.
Must be literate in the English language and able to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment with good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to organize and make decisions.
Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University at Galveston.
Experience in Admissions recruiting/advising and Financial Aid.
Working experience with youth and varied populations in admissions, recruitment, or financial aid.
Experience giving presentations to large groups.
State of Texas class “C” vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to speak Spanish and English (Bilingual).
Ability to develop and make presentations.
Ability to design, develop, conduct, and assess effective programs.
