Cybersecurity Security Engineer Intern

The Westinghouse Information Risk Management team is seeking a passionate candidate looking to explore exciting career opportunities in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will be seeking a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or another related field. 

 

Ths position is located in Cranberry Township, PA.

As a cybersecurity intern at Westinghouse, you will be responsible for: 

 

·                     Assisting the cybersecurity team with various tasks such as conducting vulnerability assessments, analyzing security logs and events, and developing security policies and procedures. 

·                     Learning from experienced cybersecurity professionals and gaining hands-on experience with various tools and technologies such as firewalls, antivirus software, encryption, incident response, security logging solutions, data security tools and authentication systems. 

·                     Supporting security awareness and phishing simulation campaigns. 

·                     Collaborating with other IT interns to share best practices and learn from each other.
