As the Director of Finance for the Transformation Office, you will be responsible for leading financial aspects of transformation initiatives within the organization.
Working closely with senior leadership, finance teams, and cross-functional partners, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of transformation projects and
driving organizational growth. Hybrid, based out of our Global HQ in North Buckhead, Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities
Financial Analysis and Planning:
- Be a leader within the Finance workstream from the Transformation Office and collaborate with business & finance teams to analyze and assess the financial impact of transformation initiatives.
- Conduct financial modeling and forecasting to identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
- Develop financial plans, budgets, and business cases to support transformation projects and secure necessary funding and resources.
- Monitor and track financial performance, providing timely analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
Financial Governance and Compliance:
- Establish financial governance processes, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Conduct regular financial risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize financial and operational risks; challenge and coach plan owners to manage risks and improve performance
- Collaborate with internal audit teams to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to finance teams in adhering to financial governance and compliance requirements.
Financial Transformation Strategy:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop the financial transformation strategy to align with the overall organizational goals.
- Participate in the planning and design of financial systems, processes, and structures to support transformation initiatives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations in identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and improved financial performance.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of financial transformation efforts.
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to gather financial information and ensure alignment with transformation objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and transformation office senior leadership as well as department heads and project managers, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and interpretation for transformation projects.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the finance function and other business units involved in the transformation initiatives.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage a team of finance professionals within the Transformation Office, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance team.
- Identify and address skill gaps, providing training and development opportunities to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Support talent acquisition and retention efforts by participating in recruitment and performance management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (advanced degree or professional certifications preferred, such as CPA or CMA).
- Extensive experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on financial analysis and planning.
- Proven experience in supporting transformation initiatives or change management projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and recommend strategic actions.
