The Corporate Licensing Program Manager on the Legal team will manage the timely filing of state and federal licensing applications, communicate with state and federal agencies, and review the licensing applications prepared by Licensing Operations team members. This role will report to the Manager, Corporate Licensing and involve working collaboratively with various individuals throughout the company. 

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Develop, implement, and manage a robust compliance program ensuring timely and accurate filing and reporting, including, but not limited to, PEO licensing application preparation and filing, CPEO and ESAC reporting, and state client addition and termination customer reporting.
  • Monitor federal, state, and local PEO reporting and filing requirements and implement changes across the program as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with state agencies and the IRS to ensure continued licensing compliance.
  • Collaborate with Licensing Operations, Payroll Tax, Workers’ Comp., Benefits Operations, and Finance teams in connection with reporting and filing obligations, as necessary.
  • Maintain and track regulatory reporting submission trackers for ESAC, CPEO, and annual reports. 
  • Formalize internal licensing/accreditation processes and enhance controls.
  • Support record-keeping and annual compliance, including maintaining business licensing and state qualification records.
  • Help drive compliance program awareness and perform other related responsibilities based on department and/or organizational needs.
  • Other duties as needed based on department and/or organizational needs.
