What You’ll Do

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, incorporating both clinical data and the patient’s own perspective.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans.

• Review medications, provide education, and help patients navigate their treatment journeys.

• Champion safety, ensuring a secure environment for both patients and staff.

• Share your knowledge by mentoring and supporting clinical staff education initiatives.

• Administer medications and deliver patient care with precision, compassion, and professionalism.

What You’ll Bring

• A current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with Montana authorization.

• CPR certification (required); ACLS and PALS certification (preferred or obtained within six months).

• Two years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in a fast-paced or specialty setting.

• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications:

• Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.

• BSN degree preferred.

• Current HCP CPR certification required.

• Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing experience preferred.

• Current ACLS and PALS certification may be required in certain departments and successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.

• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

• Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

• Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

• Performs patient assessment. Utilizes all available sources of information and incorporates the patient’s perception of illness. 

• Develops an individualized plan of care for each patient and updates the plan throughout the visit as appropriate.

• Consistently identifies safety issues concerning the patient and staff during visit.  

• Independently reviews medication lists and provides ongoing medication or treatment education at the directive of physician or advanced practice provider.
