What You'll Do:

As a Technology Application and Services Lab Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation in our refrigeration, industrial and thermal management business segments. You'll provide leadership and collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.

 

What We're Looking For:

• Plan and manage laboratory projects effectively and efficiently to deliver results that meet and exceed customer expectations (support product managers, sales and end users)
• Communicate project updates that allow product management, sales, product technology specialists (PTS) and the technical community to understand timelines, roadblocks or unforeseen challenges
• Safeguard technical information and ensure it is accurate and meaningful to customers’ requests and objectives. Maintain appropriate information in Sharepoint, or other software sites.
• Play a key role maintaining and cultivating internal and external technical relationships such as collaboration with R&D, Lubrizol technology sources, customers and technical societies/organizations when appropriate.
• Provides guidance and support to lab chemists, technicians, and Oil Services lab supervisor, ensuring they have the necessary resources, tools, and information to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
• Coordinate and execute technical testing in support of business strategy and customer requirements.
• Certify the laboratory has the necessary training and resources to assure the quality and timeliness of the results generated by the laboratory.  Overseeing lab safety, methodology, calibration and maintenance, records retention, and reporting of results.
• Supports technical topics such as formulation, failure analysis, EHS&S systems, manufacturing troubleshooting, quality control support and regulatory compliance.
