Job Description and Responsibilities
EVRAZ North America is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our team. The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for administering and enhancing the value of our HCM system, Workday. Responsibilities for this role include developing system solutions based on business requirements, troubleshooting current configuration, enhancing the overall capabilities of the system, and end user training. The successful candidate will have experience in multiple functional areas of Workday, as well as a business acumen which will enable you to create strategic relationships with our users.
- Accountable for the support and enhancement of the EVRAZ HRIS system
- Work with internal stakeholders to define system requirements, provide recommendations, document changes, and implement solutions
- Configure and implement business processes and system enhancements that support company objectives across multiple HR functional areas
- Troubleshooting and resolution of complex system issues
- Define best practices and drive adoption within the HR organization
- Train HR users on Workday functionality to drive greater data integrity and process quality
- Facilitate end user testing to ensure system changes are vetted thoroughly before implementation
- Create reporting solutions that simplify access to data and productivity. Train end-users on reporting capabilities
- Manage partner resources executing project deliverables and helpdesk tickets
- Provide input into HRIS strategy and roadmap development
- Support the Workday bi-annual release process by evaluating and testing new features and recommending changes to stakeholders based on business needs
- Stay current on HRIS industry best practices and workday features
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM in three or more of the following functional areas: Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, Absence, Benefits, and Learning
- 1-3 years of direct HR experience
- Ability to be a creative problem solver and propose multiple solutions for business requirements
- Communicate technical concepts in a concise manner to non-technical business partners
- Must be an effective collaborator with the ability to lead cross functional teams
- Demonstrated experience managing partner consulting resources
- Fundamental understanding of project management
- Experience with Excel and Data Visualization tools
- Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, union experience ideal
- Kronos experience a plus
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required (passport required)
Compensation
$100,000 - $120,000
