Per Diem Physician Assistant - Internal Medicine/Psychiatry

We are excited to announce the reopening of our newly renovated, state-of-the-art inpatient Psychiatry Unit, which now includes four higher-acuity med-psych beds. As a Per Diem Physician Assistant, you will provide 24/7 coverage and work closely with psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners to address both the psychiatric and medical needs of admitted patients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in hospital medicine and/or psychiatric medicine

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies

• Current New York State PA Licensure

• Active NCCPA Certification

• ACLS and BLS certifications

• NYS Infection Control Certification

• DEA Registration with NYS Opioid Prescriber status
