Responsibilities
1. Conduct research on optimizer design for large-scale pretraining and post-training, including stability and efficiency at scale.
2. Study and analyze scaling laws, such as parameter–data–compute trade-offs and empirical scaling behavior across model sizes.
3. Explore and evaluate frontier model architectures, including efficiency improvements and long-context modeling.
4. Investigate training dynamics and empirical phenomena observed in large-scale experiments.
5. Design and run experiments to validate hypotheses and compare methods.
6. Contribute to internal research discussions and technical reports, with opportunities for publication.
