Job Summary: Manages the daily operations of the bank’s commercial vault. Supervises Commercial Vault employees who are responsible for daily commercial customer deposits and cash processing. Partners with INTRUST’s 40+ banking centers, ensuring they have adequate cash and coin to meet customer needs. Develops procedures and workflows ensuring optimum customer service and efficiencies while mitigating risk. Uses good judgement in reporting exceptions, complex or legal, issues to management. Creates and manages the staff’s work schedule; serves as backup when required. Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives and projects to support the department and/or business unit. Establishes work processes for team members and ensures a high-level of customer service is delivered and promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Maintains strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s Character Qualities.

• Effectively manage others by consistently applying INTRUST’s supervisor and manager expectations: relationship management; feedback; coaching and development; establishing effective work culture expectations; critical thinking; business acumen; and resource management. 

• Prioritizes daily operations workflow and ensures accountability of all vault assets.

• Ensures the vault cash limits are adequately maintained according to fluctuations. 

• Monitors and manages the cash flow for all branches, correspondent banks, and external customers as well as balance controls.

• Manage day-to-day partnership with armored car services in the bank’s three metro markets.

• Responsible for branch and vault cash reconcilements.

• Ensures that daily service standards are met.

• Ensures procedures are documented and followed. 

• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.

• Manages internal and external customer relationships.

• Works with hardware and software vendors associated with business unit. Participates in system upgrades, conversion, and ongoing product education.

• Schedule service calls for equipment maintenance and repairs.

• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Education and Experience: 5+ years related job experience and 2+ years supervisory experience required. Previous banking experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
