We are now seeking an experienced HR People Partner to help support our Senior Director of People & Organization (P&O) as part of our global P&O team, which includes three other P&O colleagues in Austin.
About the roleThe HR People Partner is a newly added role that will report to our Senior Director of P&O in AMER and will be a key member of the Americas P&O Team. As part of the P&O team, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in both Olso, Norway, and Austin in Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, Organizational Development, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development. You will join an Austin P&O team of three others, who appreciate the flexibility of our hybrid work environment, including regular shared time together in our Austin office in the Domain.

What You'll Do
- Support aspects of the Employee Lifecycle, including talent management (succession planning, mobility, high potential & leadership development), organizational strategy and structure, compensation, diversity, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, employee engagement, and retention.
- Support strategies and programs that focus on the company's ability to attract, develop, and retain talent.
- Handle employment-related inquiries or complaints from applicants, employees, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Work with People Managers to support coaching and performance management needs for their teams.
- Lead employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, as needed.
- Champion our Employee Global Mobility Program, supporting managers and team-members with global secondments.
- Ensure policies, practices and procedures are administered fairly and consistently per all applicable local, state and federal laws.
- Cross-train with our P&O Coordinator, to provide back-up support with our onboarding process, HRIS maintenance, Performance Management, Total Rewards, and other HR responsibilities, as and when needed.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR & operations experience required
- 4+ years progressive HR generalist experience required
- SHRM certification preferredHands-on contributor with great attention to detail
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and high level of professional maturity
- Proven ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment, and flexible with changing priorities
- Experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment preferred
- Experience in a Global Company environment a plus
- Experience with international work visas also a plus
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office & Google Suite
- Experience with BambooHR a plus
