Finance & Accounting Intern

High Companies is seeking a full-time, paid finance & accounting intern for the Summer 2024 season to temporarily support High Real Estate Group's (HREG) Finance and Accounting teams with the organization and maintenance of accounting and legal records, compilation of market research for acquisition and development opportunities, and population of proforma models. The position will regularly interact with all levels of SBU and upper management.

The successful candidate must be highly self-motivated, team-oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency will Microsoft Office products is required. Above all, the internship position will be a valuable learning experience with exposure to real-life business situations and senior leadership.

Responsibilities of the HREG Finance & Accounting Intern:

• Gathering and performing analysis on large amounts of data to provide insight and valuable information to key stakeholders to enable informed business decisions.
• Working on assigned projects that may include working cross-functionally supporting other Finance / Accounting teams, as business needs arise.
• Assisting with the development of Tabular, Excel, and Power BI models.
• Preparing and interpreting cost and variance analysis, reviewing financial trends and other analytical-based work.
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cashflow.
• Supporting the HREG finance & accounting team in overall activities assigned to SBU’s.

Job Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate college/university and pursuing a degree in business, finance, accounting, or other related disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, at the Greenfield Corporate Office.
