A Day in the Life

As a member of the finance team, you will be the primary finance partner for senior finance leaders within the global finance function. The role will support all aspects of financial management, including expense analysis, month-end/quarter-end close, reporting & presenting results, preparing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), capital expenditure requests, and forecasting. This role includes creating, maintaining, and updating reports, troubleshooting reports and system issues and answer finance related questions for senior leadership. This role is part of a broader finance team that supports the global functions (HR, legal, finance, etc.) across Medtronic.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Independently delivers and manages moderately complex projects with general supervision
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to achieve project goals and milestones
• Sets objectives for own work to align with broader project or departmental goals
• Identifies and resolves general issues; may recommend improvements to systems or processes
• Communicates regularly with internal teams to share updates, gather input, and support decisions
• May mentor entry-level professionals or guide support staff as needed
• Contributes to cross-functional assignments and supports team success beyond immediate job area.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills in English.
