Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

What you'll do:

• Design and implement scalable SaaS applications using NestJS (backend) and NextJS (frontend).
• Build and optimize PostgreSQL databases and microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with product teams to balance technical decisions with business objectives.
• Mentor engineers on SDLC best practices and implement our design system.
• Leverage AI and agentic tools throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay current with cloud-native technologies and microservices patterns.
• Support deployments by debugging, troubleshooting, and coordinating with DevOps and QA.
• Develop and maintain APIs and other backend functionality.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.
• This position is preferably based in Austin, Texas.

About you:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years building and debugging large-scale, cloud-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of SOLID design principles and software design patterns.
• Professional experience with PostgreSQL (query optimization, migrations).
• Understanding of Atomic Design principles and scalable design systems.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent teamwork, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience building scalable Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with Javascript or Typescript (e.g., NodeJS, NestJS).
• Experience with React, NextJS, or other frontend technologies.
• Experience with Third-party payment API integration.
