In today’s dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Walmart Customer Development team at Colgate. Our team is highly ambitious and focused, dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive and our customers in this ever-evolving landscape. What role will you play as a member of this team?
As the Customer Development Specialist on our Walmart team, you’ll be the brains behind the operation. The team will count on you to delve deep into the data, craft compelling stores, and provide insights to propel our omnichannel business forward with one of the largest retailers globally. Everyday, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team that is passionate about driving growth for our strong Home Care brands.
What you'll do
- Data Expert: You’ll compile brand and category overviews, evaluate promotions and sales, and weave these insights into compelling stories. Your analytics and insights will help drive our strategies forward.
- Trend Tracker: You’ll keep a strong pulse of retail environment trends, conduct retail audits, and monitor competitive activity to find opportunities for our brands.
- Retail Trailblazer: You’ll own working with our retail partners to flawlessly execute in-store activations. You’ll track implementation and take on agile decision-making to strive for optimal performance.
- Team Player: You understand the power of collaboration and communication, and thrive on building strong relationships both within the organization and with Walmart. You’ll participate in Home Care line reviews, business reviews, and strategy meetings. You’ll work closely with our cross-functional teams including supply chain, shopper insights, shopper marketing, retail marketing and ecommerce to drive our omni business.
- Analytics Guru: You’ll dive deep into data tools like Luminate and Nielsen, owning and leading our weekly analytics. You will construct different pieces of data and present findings to the broader team, equipping them with the information to inform customer recommendations and account planning. Additionally, you’ll manage business fundamentals through Item 360, overseeing item creation and maintenance.
- Continuous Improver: You are driven to push boundaries and seek new solutions. You’ll drive initiatives to enhance our analytical capabilities to understand business results and trends. You are proactive in taking initiatives to anticipate and resolve issues.
- Dot Connector: You love to decipher the “why” behind the numbers. You can connect the dots between various data points and turn them into actionable insights.

Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Comfortable with managing in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in Sales, Marketing, and eCommerce
- Experience working in consumer product goods
- Experience working with a syndicated service (Nielsen, IRI) account
- Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs)
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $66,000.00 - $90,500.00 USD
