Clinical Nurse Navigator - Endoscopy Center

Under the direction of the Manager of the Endoscopy Center, the Navigator is responsible for the accurate collaboration of care of patients having procedures at the Kadlec Endoscopy Center. Major role functions include patient and staff education, clinical practice and process consultation. The Navigator will serve as a primary contact for patients trying to self-schedule or seek information regarding colonoscopy. The navigator will also aide physicians, staff, patients, and families to facilitate safe and effective scheduling of patient care in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center. The Navigator will hold responsibility in promoting patient education and preparation for procedures performed at the Kadlec Endoscopy Center. The Navigator is also responsible for assisting in providing educational opportunities for the MA's, Technologists and Registered Nurses in the department. The Navigator will also be responsible for assisting in the collection and preparation of Benchmarking data.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelors in a healthcare related field
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- 2 years Recent experience in a related area or management experience in an acute care setting will be accepted in lieu of experience in a related area.
