Mid-Senior Java Developer

We are looking for Mid–Senior Java Developers to join our Transformation Project Team, contributing to the design and delivery of modern enterprise solutions across large-scale digital transformation initiatives. You will work with Spring Boot, microservices, and containerized environments, building robust and scalable backend services. This is a hybrid position based in Maroussi, combining on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 11+ and Spring Boot
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment and support
• Develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design reliable, high-performance solutions
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and static analysis tools
• Integrate systems with databases and external services
• Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvements
• Follow engineering best practices and contribute to technical documentation

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Java development

• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Exposure to development and AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, SonarQube, Eclipse, or similar
• Good understanding of clean code principles and testing practices
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Fluency in English
