Your role at Baxter
Manages the day-to-day operation of multiple locations, teams and departments of the organization's customer-facing operations across a region in the US. This can include 3-Pl logistics partners, distribution customer operations and transportation and logistics partners. Accountable for the strategic plan for the department(s)/area(s) and sponsors all projects to achieve business results. Constantly pursues creative ways to improve the operation of the department(s)/area(s).
Responsible for US home patient delivery operations in a region (multiple states and upwards to 30 direct reports). Analyzes distribution, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, technology advancements, and a variety of other problems to provide or formulate and develop modified solutions to business issues affecting the daily operations function. Must be able to travel up to 15%-25% to other sites.

Your team
- Leads one or multiple functions in supply chain operations to ensure that customers receive the best possible service at the most effective cost. Directly manages the private fleet in the region to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient and cost effective manner. Develop and lead programs to improve supply chain operations.
- Act as liaison between customers, distribution, internal Supply chain, sales, marketing, field service, accounting, and external vendors to resolve status, production, delivery and billing inquiries.
- Accountable for employee and operational compliance with established internal policies and practices, as well as divisional, state and federal healthcare regulatory requirements including but not limited EH&S, OSHA, FDA, EPA, and DOT.
- Develops the function's budgets, key imperatives, and strategic plans. Evaluates various alternatives and makes the decision to ensure the business and customer needs are met.
- Accountable for overseeing functional talent management objectives are met. Manage staffing requirements including resource planning and analysis. Will be actively involved in recruiting, selection, and staffing of teams. Additionally, sets the functional key performance indicators and the overall functional performance objectives. Handles and supports all escalated HR issues, workers compensation, and legal matter.
- Develop and administer operating budget for areas of responsibility. Responsible for all accounts payable activities and invoice processing for regional activity.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5 years or more management/leadership experience within a customer facing transportation and delivery operations.
- Must have demonstrated excellent leadership, interpersonal, planning and communication skills. Customer orientation, collaboration skills and the ability to prioritize major improvement activities. Must be able to think innovatively and strategically.
- Must be results driven have good project management skills.
- Proficient in multiple computer applications including but not limited to Excel, Power Point, Word, DOT on board computers, and warehouse management systems
