The Better Together Facilitation Team Member is responsible for delivering engaging, interactive training sessions to a diverse group of participants, including parents, caregivers, and staff. This role ensures a safe, respectful learning environment while maintaining fidelity to the curriculum and achieving established learning objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities
Deliver interactive and engaging training to a broad range of participants, including parents and staff.
Facilitate group discussions, activities, and exercises to enhance participant learning and engagement.
Ensure a respectful and safe learning environment that promotes open communication and participation.
Maintain classroom management, addressing and/or supporting facilitators and participants appropriately.
Adhere to curriculum guidelines and maintain fidelity to the program’s instructional design.
Debrief activities with participants to reinforce key concepts and promote reflection.
Offer constructive recommendations to improve the training content and overall learning experience.
Requirements
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience working with diverse populations, including parents, youth, and caregivers.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive, respectful learning environment.
Ability to manage groups effectively and adapt to varying participant needs.
Proficiency in basic technology tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Zoom, or other virtual training platforms).
Other Requirements:
This position may require travel to various training sites.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, as needed.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and engage with active group facilitation.
