The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Senior Manager, Executive Compensation, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Supports the creation, production and dissemination of Compensation Committee meeting materials and coordination of meetings
- Owns and/or supports various compensation processes, such as annual executive compensation planning, compensation communications, and other key compensation initiatives, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives
- Conducts informational meetings and responds to inquiries for executive compensation counsel, practices, and procedures throughout the year
- Responsible for Communications/3M Go creation or updates for related Processes named above
- Collaborate with internal partners such as HR, Legal, Finance and others on projects, processes and issue resolution
- Lead executive compensation related process improvement initiatives
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Five (5) years of HR or finance experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in business or HR from an accredited institution
- Ten (10+) years of HR or finance experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include knowledge of compensation programs and processes, communication and relationship building skills with ability to influence, analytical and problem-solving skills, Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy, proficiency in Workday, Excel, and Powerpoint
Work location:
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to 3M Center as needed)
Travel: May include up to 10%
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
