Job Description

The freezer associate's role is crucial to maintain the freezer in optimal condition. This means the freezer is stocked, rotated and cleaned at all times. The preferred candidate for this role requires minimal direct supervision. This individual is self-motivated, and gets excited to see the tangibles of their role. They are always in the know for anything freezer. They are able to quickly identify items, know when something is getting close to expiration, and identify any maintenance required in their freezer.

Reports To: Night Dock Supervisor 

Shift Start Time: 4pm - 7pm 

Days Off: Saturday & additional night of the week

Pay: $25.65/hr

Job Type: Full-Time

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Keep freezer clean, stocked, and organized.
• Always maintain room for incoming freight.
• Re-pack all broken cases or return items.
• Reallocate items as needed
• Dispose of obsolete inventory
• Stock items accordingly
• Put away freezer returns
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Attention to detail
• Basic reading and writing
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. (Must pass a Math Skills Test)
• Basic Computer skills needed
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. frequently
• Ability to stand and/or walk for entire shift
• Forklift Certification required within 30 days of hire into the position
• Drug screen required
• Fitness test required
• Background check required
